After contacting 3 different fence companies, I reached out to Cedar Mountain Fencing and it was a great experience from the beginning. They called me back right away to schedule my consultation and got someone out within a couple days. I met with BJ and he was great and explained everything and knowing it was nearing the end of the season I decided to move forward with the fence install and they were able to schedule me and handle all inspections. They worked all day and got it installed in 1 day, which I wasn’t expecting and they do really nice quality work with great pricing compared to elsewhere I called. The fence looks beautiful in my yard and would highly recommend. Everyone is great to work with. Thank you for the great experience!

Frequently Asked Questions

Fences can lean or become unstable due to several factors, including soil erosion, ground shifting, weather conditions (such as heavy winds and rain), inadequate installation, poor maintenance, rotting wood posts, or damage from impact.
In many cases, a leaning fence can be repaired without the need for complete replacement. The repair method will depend on the extent of the lean and the cause. Common repairs include straightening and reinforcing posts with concrete or metal braces, replacing damaged sections of the fence, or adjusting tension in wire fences.
The cost to fix a leaning fence varies widely depending on the severity of the problem and the type of repair needed. Minor repairs might only require materials for bracing posts which could range from $50 - $150. More extensive repairs that involve replacing sections of fencing or multiple posts can run into hundreds of dollars. Its best to get an estimate from a local fence company after they assess the situation.
Repair time can vary greatly based on the complexity of the job. Simple fixes such as reinforcing a post may take only a few hours while more extensive repairs requiring post replacements could take one day or more. If parts need to be ordered or custom solutions are required, this could extend the timeline further.
Many reputable fence companies in Schaumburg will offer some form of warranty on their workmanship and materials used during repairs. This can range from months to years depending on the company policy and nature of repair performed. It is important to ask about warranties before hiring someone so you know what coverage you have for future issues related to their repair work.
